A Culinary Legacy

This book is about 3 generations of women and their cooking.  It traces the evolution of the authors family culinary DNA from grandmother's kitchen, through our mother's kitchen, and down to the way my sister and I cook today.  Practically speaking it it a collection of 250+ homey, uncomplicated, guaranteed-to-please dishes we make on a daily basis and you can too with minimum time and effort.  They are based on the comfort food of our childhood but with creative updating for contemporary life styles including time-saving shortcuts, make-ahead hints, health-conscious considerations, and the addition of ingredients and flavor accents from today's international marketplace of produce.  My sister's whimsical drawings illustrate the text.
